וַתִּכְתֹּ֥ב בַּסְּפָרִ֖ים לֵאמֹ֑ר קִֽרְאוּ־צ֔וֹם וְהוֹשִׁ֥יבוּ אֶת־נָב֖וֹת בְּרֹ֥אשׁ הָעָֽם׃
Und sie schrieb in die Briefe und sagte: 'Proklamiere ein Fasten und setze Naboth an die Spitze des Volkes;

Proclaim a day of fasting. On a fast day it was their custom to examine their sins.
